God's Handiwork

Hi All,

Today was special for Sonny and me. It 's Monday and the day that we try to take off and do something to unwind from the busy weekends. Yesterday we had three services and were very tired. Anyway, back to today. We went on a color tour on the bikes with some couples from church. We went over into Maryland and up around Pennsylvania and back down to West Virginia. We left about 10 a.m. had a great lunch, and got home around 5 p.m. It was warm (77) and the sun was shining. It was a wonderful ride. I don't know how anyone can see the beauty of nature in the fall and not believe in God.

Sonny is feeling much better. His blood pressure is stabilizing and he has been pain free for over a week now. He still needs to take it easy (yeah right), but God has been good to us again.

Well, I just wanted to share with you all. Judy

Hello Everyone,

Just a note to bring everyone up to date here. Sonny gave us another scare with his heart yesterday. Spent the night in intensive care and we are home today again. He got up yesterday in some pain and hadn't slept well the night before. He thought maybe that his blood pressure was up so we took it. It was 188/115 so I called the doctor. They said get him in. When we got there he was in a full blown attack and they called the ambulance. He went through a cath and the doctor says the stinted artery has some small branches that are pinched off and also the bottom of the artery is shut off from former attacks, he wants to try medication for this and then maybe later there will be something (open heart) that can be done. He says that the whole rest of his heart is good, but even with the stints the other artery is bad. Also, he is puzzled by the spikes in BP that he has had since the placement of the last 4 stints. He has a total of 6 in the one artery. The pinched off branches are causing the pain and attacks. Anyway, I just want to give the Lord all the glory for His touch yesterday. So, today we are home with some new meds and Sonny is worn out from the ordeal. He wanted to take a nap with Daisy. She is his buddy. Judy
